Tough Words for School Board Considering Land Sale
Posted on Thursday, September 06 2007 @ 02:21:07 CDT by kim

Family Matters Thought I'd share with you a tough editorial written by a former DeKalb Board of Education member recently in the AJC. He has some pretty harsh things to say about the current Board, including:

"It's time for our school board members to listen to the concerns of those who elected them instead of corporate hustlers with no vested interest in the long-term viability of our neighborhoods and neighborhood schools. The future of this community and whether it will remain a desirable place to live rests on the DeKalb school board's decision whether to sell or not to sell these public assets to Sembler."

You can read the entire editorial at the AJC.
